# Conditional execution of step based on what files have changed

I had a look at guide on conditional execution of steps at [Conditional execution of steps · Codefresh | Docs](https://codefresh.io/docs/docs/pipelines/conditional-execution-of-steps/)  
I don’t see any mechanism by which condition can be applied for file changeset.

If by “changeset” you mean the git payload event have you seen monorepo support? [Git triggers · Codefresh | Docs](https://codefresh.io/docs/docs/pipelines/triggers/git-triggers/#monorepo-support-modified-files)

Or do you mean something else?
